Once upon a time, there was a young shepherd named Nikos who lived at the foot of Mount Olympus. Nikos was a dreamer and spent his days tending to the sheep while looking up at the heights, wondering what secrets were hidden in the snowy peak.
One day, while tending to his sheep, Nikos found an ancient stone tablet in a cave. The inscriptions on the tablet were incomprehensible, but he felt that they contained a hidden message and decided to take it with him and show it to the wise old man of the village, old Demetrios.
Demetrios examined the tablet with shining eyes and said to “Nikos”, “this is a map that leads to Olympus itself.” Nikos couldn’t believe it. Olympus? The old man explained that only a pure-hearted mortal could ascend to Olympus. Nikos had to overcome trials and challenges to prove his worth and with determination he began his ascent.
The mountain was relentless, avalanches, storms and mythical creatures tried to stop him, but Nikos kept insisting, on his way he found Hermes, the messenger of the gods, who gave him winged sandals to ease his journey.
Finally, Nikos reached the top, there, surrounded by clouds and golden light, he found the gods… Zeus, with his lightning bolt in hand, looked at him with curiosity, Hera, with her crown of lilies, watched him with distrust, Aphrodite, the goddess of love, smiled. “Why are you here, mortal?” Zeus asked. Nikos knelt down. “I seek answers, sir. Why do the gods play with our lives? Why do they love us and punish us at the same time?”
The gods exchanged glances. Athena, the wise, spoke… “We gods are like humans, full of passions and contradictions, but we are also guardians of the cosmic order, our actions affect the mortal world.”
Zeus nodded. “Nikos, you have proven your worth, we will give you an answer… we gods are the reflection of humanity, our beauty and flaws are yours, but we are also the divine spark that inspires creativity, love and the search for meaning.”
Nikos came down from Olympus full of wisdom, shared his experience with the people of his town and became a just leader. Olympus - Original Soundtrack - Motivational Music, Author J. Bilbao
